You might want to check out Little Snitch at the following link: I've been using it for a number of years and have been pleased with the results. The following info is taken from their website: As soon as you?re connected to the Internet, applications can potentially send whatever information they want to wherever they want. Sometimes they do this for good reason, on your explicit request. But often they don?t. Little Snitch allows you to intercept these unwanted connection attempts, and lets you decide how to proceed.
I just got a new Macbook Pro battery 13' for college. I really like it so far, but my only concerns are in how I should take care of it. I want to make sure I can use the laptop for a long time. The 13-inch MacBook Pro has a 2560x1600 16:10 display at 227 ppi. The 15-inch MacBook Pro has a 2880x1800 16:10 display at 220 ppi. More display means seeing either more of the web and more of apps you can cram onto it, including interface and toolbars. Or, if accessibility is an issue, seeing bigger of all the same.
For example, to mirror a small MacBook (e.g. 11-inch MacBook air) to a larger Windows screen, to share mac screen with another computer, to share Mac screen to a PC so that the mac screen can be mirrored to a smart TV (Samsung, Sony TV).
